I think, for the price, you cannot get better than this watch. I am a referee as well as a coach and the functions are exactly what I need, and the display is even bigger than I expected. Perfect as far as I am concerned.
The large digit AST watch is very useful for my involvement in motorsport. I have used it for navigating on Historic Regularity Rallies where the stop watch format [ MM : SS ] is ideal for use with the regularity tables, which are in the same format. It is easy to set to the organiser’s time, which may be at variance to BST / GMT time from the radio or GPS satellite clocks. As a MSA National A Rally Timekeeper, I have a particular interest in having the correct time. I am involved with the organisation of small rallies, including 12 car rallies. These watches can be a very useful marshal’s watch, as they can be set to the organiser’s time [ BST / GMT ]. They have large readable digits which are suitable for ‘ timing to the Minute ‘ purposes. Timing to the Second does require more practice, but can also be done, but there is no freeze function on the time of day clock. Being a watch, the marshals can attach it to their wrists, reducing the amount of things they need to hold [ pens / clipboards / competitor’s time cards, etc. ] and reducing the risk of it being dropped. Being waterproof, it can shrug off any rain. As it is attached to wrist, it is kept at a reasonable temperature and is not prone to problems with cold weather. I don’t recommend the use of the watch’s internal light at night as it will drain its battery. A suitable head torch is much more effective for use with the clock and the clipboard, etc. I consider that it is excellent value, being a price that you could almost afford to have two, using one as a spare. great watch easy to see without my glasses!very basic functions.the price reflects that .I just wish they did a female version as i have to cut the strap to fit my wrist.

I needed this stop watch asap, and astopwatch didnt fail! The item arrived very quickly and i was so pleased with the quality of the watch. I wanted the watch for Horse Eventing, most competitors have the BE eventing watch. I went for astopwatch as the description was just the same as the BE watch and it proved me right!!!
