One-Two Fast Finish Stopwatches

The one-two fast finish (or 1-2 finish) function allows a single timekeeper to record the precise finish times for both the first and second place competitors in quick succession.

How It Works:

This mode uses a specific sequence of button presses to capture both times accurately:

  1. Start Event: The timekeeper presses the Start button at the beginning of the race. The timer runs continuously.
  2. First Finisher: When the first competitor crosses the finish line, the timekeeper presses the Split button. The display immediately freezes and shows the winning time (the total elapsed time for the first place competitor). The internal timer, however, continues to run in the background.
  3. Second Finisher: When the second competitor crosses the finish line, the timekeeper presses the Stop button, followed by the Split button. The display then switches to show the second place competitor's time.

The stopwatch records the total elapsed time for both finishers, providing an efficient way to capture close finishes with a single timing device. The results can be displayed simultaneously on stopwatches with a dual or triple line display.
