General Product Questions
Do I get a discount if I order in bulk?
If you would like to order in bulk from us, you can register as a trade customer. You can find out more on the wholesale page here. Alternatively, we do offer some bundles and packs for multiple watches. If you would like to discuss your specific requirements, please get in touch +44(0)7483 134 796 or email info@astopwatch.co.uk
Are your stopwatches waterproof or just water-resistant?
There is often confusion around these terms. We use industry-standard definitions, and you can find more information on our Waterproof vs. Water Resistant stopwatches page here.
Can I operate my stopwatch underwater?
No, none of our stopwatches are designed to be operated underwater. Pressing a button breaks the seal to the inside of the stopwatch, which would allow water to enter and damage the device.
What is an IPX rating?
We use the industry standard "IPX" scale to define the degree of water resistance for specific products. Find the full scale on our Waterproof vs. Water Resistant stopwatches page here.
Can I turn my stopwatch off?
It depends on the specific model. Many standard stopwatches, including most of our Fastime models, are always "on" to maintain the time and date functions, running for years on a single battery with very low power consumption. The display may be off, but the internal clock is still running. Some models, such as the Fastime 29 or 500DM2, do have a "display cut-off" or "power save" feature, which turns the LCD display blank to extend battery life during storage.
How do I turn the display off?
If your model has a power-saving feature, it's typically activated by pressing a specific combination of buttons. For example, on a Fastime 500DM2, you press buttons A and B together for more than 3 seconds in clock mode.
Does leaving the stopwatch running drain the battery?
No, the basic timekeeping and stopwatch functions use very little power. The primary battery drain comes from using features like the backlight or alarms.
What is a decimal minute stopwatch and why is it used in industry?
A decimal minute stopwatch measures time in minutes and hundredths of a minute (centi-minutes) rather than traditional minutes and seconds. A single minute is divided into 100 units of 0.6 seconds each. It is widely used in industry, primarily for work study or time and motion studies, because it simplifies calculations significantly.

Where can I get instructions for my watch?
Each watch will have printed instructions included in the physical box. There is also an option to download instructions for each stopwatch from the product page on our website.
Can I watch a video on how to operate my stopwatch?

Do I have to pay import duties if I am outside the UK?

Can I track my order?
Yes, a shipping confirmation email will be sent to you with your order tracking details and relevant tracking numbers.
How long does delivery take to the USA/EU/UK?
Delivery times to countries outside the UK can vary due to customs. In the UK we can offer next day delivery, or standard delivery is by second class post.

Yes, all our products are sold with a one-year warranty. In the unlikely event that there is an issue with your watch within that year from your date of purchase we can either repair or replace the watch for free. You can see the full warranty details here.
Can my watch be repaired if it is outside the warranty period?
